REIMAGINING FOOD ACCESS AS
COMMUNITY HEALTH INFRASTRUCTURE

Bounty & Soul works at the intersection of food, farms, and health - providing produce markets, and bilingual wellness education that increase food & health security, with dignity and community connection. Their approach nourishes individuals and provides sustaining support to regional farms for long term health and resilience.

Blueprint for Impact is partnering with Bounty & Soul to expand this model across the region, aligning food access with preventative health, local agriculture, and community well-being.

Together, we're demonstrating how fresh food can be a foundation for healthier families, lower healthcare costs, and thriving local economies.

INNOVATIVE FINANCING MODEL

Why We’re Working with Bounty & Soul

Bounty & Soul’s model is working at scale, with dignity, and with lasting health outcomes. But due to federal budget cuts and unpredictable grant cycles, their core operations face financial insecurity. At the same time, the organization is ready to grow. After years of refining this model and proving its impact, they’re prepared to scale regionally and globally.

Blueprint for Impact is supporting this expansion by building visibility, storytelling tools, and a new financing model that moves beyond donations alone. By aligning food access with healthcare savings, we’re making the case that investing in this work isn't charity, it’s strategy.

We are creating a short-form Impact Story that will also be featured in our Blueprint Appalachia documentary + speaking tour, increasing transparency, excitement, and investment opportunities for this project.

We are building a new model that aligns with healthcare systems, insurers, and public health partners to support long-term food-as-medicine initiatives. These partnerships help demonstrate that investing in nutrition can reduce costs and improve health outcomes, creating a case for shared funding.

PROJECT IMPLEMENTED

Once funding is secured, the project is implemented on the ground with Bounty & Soul and local collaborators.

Their proven wellness-based food model is deployed to reach more communities through free produce markets, bilingual wellness education, and regional farm partnerships.

We track success using health indicators, farm economic data, and third-party verification of impact—ensuring transparency and measurable outcomes across the 4 Returns Framework.

TRACK 4 RETURNS &
PROFITS RECYCLED

We partner with third-party experts to track and measure the full impact of the project.

Using the 4 Returns Framework, we monitor:

  • Natural Return: Viable regional farms and reduced emissions through local food systems.

  • Social Return: Stronger public health, fewer chronic diseases, and more connected communities.

  • Financial Return: Lower healthcare costs, economic activity, and job creation at the local level.

  • Inspirational Return: Dignity-first access to wellness that fosters belonging, empowerment, and connection.
